TutorFlow Videos is an AI-powered video creation tool for educators. Provide a topic and TutorFlow generates a complete video script, records narration with text-to-speech, pairs each scene with matching stock footage, and assembles the result into a rendered MP4. The entire process requires no video editing experience.
The output is a scene-based video you can preview, edit, and render directly inside TutorFlow.
What TutorFlow Videos produces
Every video is structured as a series of scenes. Each scene contains:
- A narration script delivered as AI-generated speech
- A background video clip sourced from Pexels stock footage
- An animated text overlay chosen from four layout templates
- Optional subtitle chunks that appear in sync with the narration
The scenes are sequenced, timed, and rendered into a single MP4 file. No assembly required.
What you can create
| Format | Description |
|---|---|
| Lecture and explainer videos | Concept-driven narration with keyword highlights and supporting footage, useful for flipped classroom and asynchronous delivery |
| Course introduction videos | Short overviews that orient learners before they begin a module |
| Employee onboarding videos | Structured orientation content covering company context, policies, and role expectations |
| Training and compliance clips | Policy summaries and procedure walkthroughs in video format |
| Short-form educational videos | Vertical 9:16 format for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok |
How video creation works
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Provide a topic | Enter a topic, optional details, target length, and voice preference |
| 2. Script generation | TutorFlow generates a scene-by-scene narration script with keywords and text templates |
| 3. Asset generation | Each scene gets a TTS audio track and a matching Pexels stock clip, generated in parallel |
| 4. Edit in the scene editor | Adjust scripts, swap clips, edit keywords, set transitions, and preview the full video |
| 5. Render | Trigger a cloud render. The finished MP4 is ready to download or share |
Scene editor
After generation, every part of the video is editable in the TutorFlow scene editor. The editor uses a three-panel layout:
- Remotion Player — full video preview with playback controls
- Scene navigator — a chip strip showing each scene; drag to reorder
- NLE timeline — a four-track timeline (video, audio, subtitles, scene) for precise timing adjustments
You can change narration text, regenerate TTS, swap stock footage, edit subtitle timing, pick a different text template, and set scene transition effects, all without leaving the editor.
Text overlay templates
| Template | Best for |
|---|---|
keyword | Narration with highlighted key terms appearing at the bottom of the screen |
title | Full-screen title cards for section breaks and introductions |
quote | Accent-bar quote style, useful for definitions, statistics, or key takeaways |
none | No text overlay, footage and narration only |
Video formats
TutorFlow supports two aspect ratios selected at creation time:
| Format | Resolution | Max length | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Landscape 16:9 | 1280×720 | 10 minutes | Courses, lectures, training |
| Portrait 9:16 | 720×1280 | 3 minutes | YouTube Shorts, Reels, TikTok |
Portrait videos use a different script style: shorter scenes, a hook-first opening, and tighter subtitle chunks optimized for mobile screens.
Credit costs
Video creation is charged per task completed:
| Task | Credits |
|---|---|
| Script generation (full video) | 3C |
| TTS narration per scene | 1C |
| Stock footage clip per scene | 1C |
| Cloud render (full video) | 5C |
A typical 10-scene video costs around 28 credits from start to finished MP4.
