A built simulation opens in an editor with the conversation that produced it on the left and the simulation itself on the right.
Changing it
Write what you want different in the box at the foot of the conversation, in ordinary language:
- "Widen the rate slider to 20%"
- "Add an average line to the chart"
- "Start with a larger array so the growth is obvious"
Each change costs 10 credits and produces a new version. The previous one is not overwritten.
Changes go through the conversation rather than a form on purpose. The plan is prose the model has to be able to implement, and a half-edited sentence produces a build that computes something you did not mean.
Versions
The version chip in the header opens the history. Every build, revision, and restore is listed with what was asked for.
Restoring copies an earlier build forward as the newest version rather than rewinding, so nothing you made is lost by going back, and a restore is itself reversible. Restoring runs no model and costs nothing.
Sharing
A simulation is private until you say otherwise. Share switches it to a link anyone can open and gives you that link. Switching it back makes the link stop working.
The learner needs a browser and the link. There is nothing to install and no plugin to enable, and mouse and touch both work.
Downloading
Download saves the simulation as a single HTML file. It opens in any browser, so you can hand it out directly or host it yourself.
Settings
Settings holds the name, the description, and the same visibility switch as Share. How the simulation gets generated is not here: that is the plan, and the plan is changed by asking in the conversation.
