LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability) connects your TutorFlow classroom content to a Learning Management System (LMS) such as Canvas, Moodle, Blackboard, or Brightspace. Teachers add TutorFlow courses, modules, slides, and tests directly inside their LMS course; students open them without a separate login; and test scores flow back into the LMS gradebook automatically.
TutorFlow is an LTI 1.3 / LTI Advantage tool. It supports the three LTI Advantage services: Deep Linking (adding content), Assignment and Grade Services (grade passback), and Names and Role Provisioning (rostering).
What you can do
- Deep link classroom content into an LMS course. From your LMS, open TutorFlow's content picker and insert one or more courses, learning modules, public slides, or tests as native LMS links.
- Single sign-on for learners. A student who clicks a TutorFlow link in the LMS lands directly on the content, already signed in. No TutorFlow password, invite, or separate account setup is needed.
- Automatic grade passback. When a student finishes a TutorFlow test that was launched from the LMS, the score is written to the LMS gradebook. Open-ended answers are sent as pending until a teacher grades them, then reconciled automatically.
Two kinds of TutorFlow LTI
TutorFlow exposes LTI for two different products. This guide covers the first one.
| This guide — Classroom LTI | Agent Platform LTI | |
|---|---|---|
| Audience | Teachers and org admins using the TutorFlow app | AI-agent / API integrations |
| Content | Your organization's classroom courses, modules, slides, tests | Agent Platform generated content |
| Ownership | Organization + classroom | Platform workspace + API key |
| Docs | This section | Agent Platform docs |
If you build content by hand in the TutorFlow app and want it in your school's LMS, you are in the right place.
