TutorFlow Videos is an AI video tool for educators. Give it a topic, or paste the script you already have, and TutorFlow drafts the narration scene by scene, reads it in a voice you choose, finds footage for every scene, and assembles the result into a video you can edit, render to MP4, and share from a watch page. No video editing experience is needed.
What a video is made of
A video is a sequence of scenes. Each scene has:
- A narration script, read by an AI voice or by your own recording
- A visual: a stock clip, a stock image, your own upload, a slide from one of your decks, or a drawn sketch
- A layout that decides how text appears on screen
- Subtitle chunks timed to the narration
- Optional stickers and a visual effect
Across the whole video you set the transitions between scenes, one background music track, a thumbnail, and who can watch.
What you can create
| Format | Description |
|---|---|
| Lecture and explainer videos | Narrated concept explanations with highlighted keywords, for flipped classrooms and asynchronous delivery |
| Whiteboard and animated explainers | Sketch-only, hand-drawn animation, or 2D character animation styles for younger learners and visual topics |
| Presenter videos | A lip-synced avatar narrates in the corner of every scene |
| Slide narrations | Scenes that show pages of a TutorFlow slide deck while the voice explains them |
| Course introductions and onboarding clips | Short orientation videos for a course, a team, or a policy |
| Short-form videos | Vertical 9:16 videos for YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and TikTok |
How video creation works
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Format and style | Choose 16:9 or 9:16, then a video style: Auto, Sketch only, Hand-drawn animation, Avatar narration, or 2D animation |
| 2. Topic, language, and script | Describe the video in one box, set the narration language or leave it on Automatic, and paste your own script if you have one |
| 3. Length | Pick a target length. With your own script, the length follows the script |
| 4. Confirm the script | TutorFlow drafts the narration scene by scene. Read it, regenerate it, or go on. Each draft, including a Regenerate, charges the script credit |
| 5. Voice | Pick one of six voices and hear your first scene in each |
| 6. Generate | TutorFlow records the narration and fetches a visual for every scene, then opens the editor |
| 7. Edit | Change scripts, visuals, layouts, stickers, effects, transitions, and music in the scene editor |
| 8. Create video file | Render to MP4, download it, or share the watch page |
Voices and languages
Six voices are available, three female (Nova, Coral, Shimmer) and three male (Echo, Verse, Ash), each with a short description of its tone. Before you commit, TutorFlow reads your first scene in every voice so you hear it on your own words.
The narration language, set on the topic step, decides both the language the script is written in and the accent the voice reads it with. Leave it on Automatic to follow the language you typed, or choose one of 15: English (US and UK), Spanish (Spain and Latin America), Portuguese (Brazil and Portugal), French, German, Italian, Korean, Japanese, Simplified and Traditional Chinese, Vietnamese, and Mongolian. In the editor you can also change the speaking speed of any scene, or replace the AI voice with your own recording.
Visual sources
| Source | How it reaches a scene |
|---|---|
| Stock video | Fetched automatically at generation from Pexels or Pixabay, each falling back to the other. Search again by keyword in the editor |
| Stock images | Every third stock scene gets a still image instead of a clip at generation. Search by keyword in the editor from the same providers |
| Your own files | Upload a video or an image from your device |
| Slides | Pick a deck from your classroom with Use slide, or open the deck editor and send a slide to the scene with Use in video. Refresh slide redraws it after the deck changes |
| AI sketch images | In Sketch scenes, generate the illustration the whiteboard draws |
Layout templates
| Layout | Best for |
|---|---|
| Keyword | Subtitles with highlighted key terms over footage |
| Title | Full-screen title cards for section breaks |
| Quote | Accent-bar quote style for definitions and takeaways |
| Sketch | A whiteboard drawing animation of the scene image |
| Hand-drawn | A pen draws the illustration element by element as you narrate |
| 2D animation | Hand-drawn character animation |
| None | Footage and narration only |
Video formats
| Format | Resolution | Length | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Landscape 16:9 | 1280×720 | 30 seconds to 10 minutes | Courses, lectures, training |
| Portrait 9:16 | 720×1280 | 15 seconds to 3 minutes | YouTube Shorts, Reels, TikTok |
Portrait videos use a different script style: shorter scenes, a hook-first opening, and tighter subtitle chunks sized for phones. The format is fixed when the video is created.
Sharing and downloading
Once the video file is created you can download the MP4 or share it. To use it in a course, paste the MP4 file's URL into a lesson's Video URL field, or link the watch page from the lesson text. Sharing has three settings:
| Setting | Who can watch |
|---|---|
| Private | Only your classroom team, inside TutorFlow |
| Unlisted | Anyone with the link, on a watch page that stays out of search and the public gallery |
| Public | Anyone. The video gets its own watch page with a transcript, and search engines can list it |
Credit costs
Video creation is charged per task, from your organization's AI Credit balance:
| Task | Credits |
|---|---|
| Narration script, charged each time it is drafted (Generate script or Regenerate) | 1, or 3 for a video longer than 5 minutes |
| Splitting a script you pasted into scenes | 1 |
| AI narration (TTS) per scene, including regeneration | 1 |
| Stock clip fetched automatically per scene, including Re-search | 1 |
| AI sketch image per scene | 1 |
| AI character sticker | 1, then free to reuse from My stickers; extra poses 2 each |
| Creating the video file (render) | 5 |
Free: picking a clip or image from search results, uploading your own video, image, or audio, recording your own narration, using a slide, built-in stickers, effects, transitions, and background music.
A 10-scene video of 2 minutes with AI narration and stock footage costs about 26 credits from topic to MP4: 1 for the script, 10 for narration, 10 for footage, and 5 for the render.
