Scene Editor Guide

How to use the TutorFlow scene editor: swap visuals, record or regenerate narration, add stickers and effects, time subtitles on the five-track timeline, set transitions and music, and create the video file.

本頁內容

The scene editor is where you refine a generated video before creating the file. Every element is editable: narration, visuals, layouts, stickers, effects, subtitle timing, transitions, background music, and the thumbnail.

Editor layout

AreaWhat it shows
Preview player (top)The full video with playback, volume, and speed controls
Scene strip (below the player)One chip per scene. Click to select, drag to reorder, + to add a scene after the selected one, trash to delete
Timeline (bottom)Five tracks: Visual, Audio, Subtitle, Scene, and Music
Right panelThe editor for whatever you selected: a track at the playhead, or the transition between two scenes

Press Space to play and pause from anywhere in the editor, except when a text field is focused. Click a track to choose what to edit: Visual opens video, image, slide, fit, effects, and stickers; Audio opens the script and narration; Subtitle opens the chunks; Scene opens text, layout, and transition; Music opens the background music for the whole video.

Visual

The Visual panel shows the scene's current visual and the ways to replace it.

  • Search videos. Enter a keyword and TutorFlow returns stock clips from Pexels and Pixabay. Click one to preview it in the scene, then apply it. Free.
  • Search images. The same, for still images. Free.
  • Re-search. Let TutorFlow pick a new clip automatically from the scene's keywords. 1 credit.
  • Upload video or Upload image. A file from your device. Free.
  • Use slide. Pick a deck from your classroom. Add slide creates a new deck and Edit slide opens the deck editor; there, select a slide and click Use in video to place it in this scene. If you edit the deck later, Refresh slide redraws the scene from the current version. Free.
  • Adjustments. Fit and framing of the visual inside the scene.

Visual effect

Each scene can carry one effect over its visual: Dark, Blue, Purple, or Warm colour overlays, Vignette, Blur, or Grayscale, with an opacity slider. Use a dark overlay to keep white subtitles readable over bright footage.

Stickers

Add sticker opens the sticker picker:

  • Built-in stickers in People, Objects, and Animated categories, free to use.
  • Character. Describe a character in a short prompt and TutorFlow generates it. 1 credit, saved to My stickers so using it again is free. A character can have up to three poses; each extra pose costs 2 credits, and you choose Still, Loop, or Ping-pong playback.
  • Sticky note. An editable note that floats over the visual.

Drag a sticker on the preview to place it, then set size, rotation, opacity, and an entrance and exit animation (Fade, Pop, Rise, Slide, Shrink, or none). The Stickers tab on the video list page holds your saved characters.

Audio

Script and AI narration

Edit the script text directly. The script is what the voice reads, so after a change click Regenerate TTS to record the scene again. 1 credit per regeneration. The TTS speed control changes how fast this scene is read without re-recording.

Your own voice

Record voice opens a recorder with the scene's script in front of you. Record, listen back, record again, then Use this recording. A take can be up to 3 minutes. You can also upload an audio file instead. Your own narration costs nothing, and the scene shows a Your recording badge so you know which scenes are yours.

Scene text and layout

Layout

LayoutDescription
KeywordSubtitles at the bottom with highlighted keyword badges
TitleCentered title card; uses the display text
QuoteLeft accent bar with the display text
SketchWhiteboard drawing animation of the scene image
Hand-drawnA pen draws the illustration element by element
2D animationHand-drawn character animation
NoneNo text over the visual

Display text and keywords

Title, Quote, and Sketch layouts show a short display text instead of the full script. Leave it empty to hide the text. Keyword layouts take a list of keywords shown as badges above the subtitles.

Sketch image

In a Sketch scene, Generate AI image draws the illustration the whiteboard animation will reveal. 1 credit per image; regenerate as often as you need, and restore a deleted image from the panel.

Subtitles

The Subtitle panel lists the scene's subtitle chunks. Adjust the start time and duration of each, add a chunk, split one into two, or re-initialize the chunks from the current script. Timing can also be dragged directly on the Subtitle track.

Timeline

Each scene is drawn to scale across the five tracks.

TrackWhat you adjust
VisualClip offset and duration within the scene
AudioNarration offset and duration
SubtitleChunk start and duration
SceneTotal scene length, text, layout, and transition
MusicBackground music for the whole video

Drag a block to shift it, drag its edges to resize. When narration is regenerated or recorded, the scene length follows the new audio.

Transitions

Click the gap between two scenes, or Add transition in the Scene panel, to choose how one scene hands over to the next:

TransitionEffect
NoneHard cut
FadeCrossfade
SlideThe next scene slides in
WipeA wipe across the frame
FlipA perspective flip
Clock WipeA radial wipe from the centre
IrisA circle opens or closes

Set the duration with the slider. Transitions are available between scenes, not after the last one.

Music

The Music track holds one background track for the whole video. Choose the music, set its volume relative to the narration, and set how long it fades in and out.

Thumbnail

Upload an image to use as the video's thumbnail in the list, in a course, and on the watch page.

Creating the video file

Click Create video file. TutorFlow renders every scene with its narration, stickers, effects, transitions, and music into one MP4 in the cloud. The dialog shows the estimated time and the email that will receive the result, and you can keep editing while it runs. The list page shows Creating file until it is done.

  • Download saves the MP4.
  • Share sets who can watch: Private (your classroom team), Unlisted (anyone with the link, hidden from search and the gallery), or Public (a watch page with a transcript that search engines can list). Copy link gives you the watch page address.
  • Recreate file renders again after further edits and replaces the previous file.

Each render costs 5 credits when it starts.
